Target: Primary and Secondary Students

Number of people: 8-16

Instructors: World-class Catan players and senior board game instructor team, lead by 1st runner-up of CATAN World Championship 2012 - Joe Chan, with team members with over two years coaching experiences for Catan school teams.

This course covers basic Catan game strategies, tactics on trading, resources management and negotiation. It promotes key competencies of lifelong learning, including learning to lose and respect, and soft skills such as ability to initiate mindful conversations, create collaboration opportunities, be creativity and have critical thinking and cognitive skills.

 

 

This course aims to enhance the student’s Catan playing skills and train for Hong Kong Catan competitions, and also CATAN World Championships.

*The Catan games required for the course will be provided by Hong Kong Catan Association. Participating groups may keep the game after all activities have concluded.
